The opening reception and launch of the eighth annual International Irish Arts and Human Rights Festival, and launch of the Voices of Peace multidisciplinary exhibition. Guest speakers and artists include Barry Ward TD (Festival Patron); Richard Boyd Barrett TD; Alan Glasgow, Executive Director, Front Line Defenders; and Hina Khan, Voices of Peace Visual Artist. There is an artist talk and poetry reading by Mary Moynihan with live monologue performances by Ciara Hayes, Brendan Heade and Andy Johnson. Followed by refreshments and chat.
